The NHS have launched a new campaign this week focusing on how we, the public, can support the emergency services.
As you will be aware, the NHS is currently experiencing a spike in demand for all our health services, which is in turn putting pressures on acute and emergency services, as well as primary care. Please click NHS 111 Campaign and Poster to find out more about how we can all help our NHS.

National Diabetes Audit

National Diabetes Audit

Burwell Surgery is taking part in an important national project about diabetes care and treatment in the NHS. The project is called the National Diabetes Audit (NDA).

To take part, the practice will share information about your diabetes care and treatment with the NDA. The type of information and how it is shared, is controlled by law and enforced by strict rules of confidentiality and security.

For further information about how your information is used, please see the NDA patient information leaflets below.

There are now two NDA leaflets:

One for diabetes patients

One for patients at a high risk of developing diabetes.

Taking part in the NDA shows that Burwell Surgery is committed to improving care for people with diabetes.

If you do not want your information to be used, please let the surgery know. This will not affect your care.

Please could you include a link to the patient leaflet which I have attached to this email.
