Research

This GP Surgery is research active

All NHS organisations are expected to support health and care research. Carrying out high-quality clinical
research is vital – it helps us to keep improving treatments, and to provide patients with the best care.

You may be contacted about taking part in a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) study.

If you are asked to join an NIHR research study or trial, someone in your care team will look at your health
records to see whether it is suitable for you to take part. You will then be contacted to ask if you are interested.

You do not have to take part in any research study, and are free to choose whether or not to get involved.
